Materials

• Wood: ApplePly - combines light weight and stiffness.
  Most commercial telescope bases use heavy, porous particle board.
• Bearings Surfaces: Ebony star and virgin Teflon.
• Hardware: Locking knobs in brass wood inserts secure collapsible bases ridigly. Stainless steel 3/8-16 bolt, flanged bushing, embedded t-nut and lock nut provide secure rotation without bolt contacting wood surface.
• Finish: Up to eight coats of professional sprayed satin polymer.
  

• Clamshell rings (allows rebalance and rotation of your telescope).
• Wood altitude bearings (use equatorial rings on Dobsonian mount).
• We will install a complete Sky Commander Digital Setting Circle system.
• We can add Hardware to allow use of your existing Sky Commander.
